Carrera Construction was established in 1988 as a Design / Build General Contractor specializing in restaurants, commercial, industrial, multi family and retail projects within a 250 mile radius of Greater Cincinnati. Our team of construction professionals is dedicated to quality in every aspect of work. We are thoroughly experienced in new construction, additions, tenant finish and renovations of existing buildings. Carrera Construction was incorporated in 1988 in Kentucky and is presently located at 2409 Spring Grove Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio.
With a large part of our work being negotiated for repeat clients on an “Open Book” basis, we also bid and have had success with many “Plan and Spec” Private and Public Sector Projects. We are fully bonded when required by a Triple A rated bonding company.
We have an unblemished safety record and an established Safety Program. All of our employees are drug tested and fully OSHA trained. We are fortunate that we have never experienced a job site accident resulting in injury or loss of time.

Tom has been in the design and construction business for over fourty years and has been President of Carrera Construction since 1994. His main focus as president is administration, project management, team building and business development. His strengths are in planning, pre-construction, budget pricing, design / build and value engineering.
Benjamin Ransick, Vice President
Ben has over 18 years of experience in the industry, and has been employed by Carrera since 2013. He possesses in depth knowledge of fast paced tenant improvement projects, make ready projects, new construction, facility repairs, concrete, and many other industry related items including value engineering. He values himself on pride, commitment, and perfection while ultimately seeking a high level of customer satisfaction.
Ed Vicars, Senior Project Manager
Ed has over thirty years of management and construction experience. His focus on customer satisfaction is demonstrated in his ability to solve problems and overcome obstacles. Utilizing strong communication and organizational skill he is able to consistently deliver projects “on time” and “within budget”. This is just another reason why Carrera Construction enjoys repeat customers business and high customer referrals.
Terri Thompson, Office Manager
Terri has been employed by Carrera Construction in the Office Management role since 1999. Her main duties in addition to general administration are accounts payable, answering the telephone, greeting customers and assistance in sub contractor bidding.
Tom Mann, Superintendent
Tom has over thirty years experience in the general construction industry and has been employed as a project superintendent with Carrera Construction since 1997. Tom is also a highly skilled carpenter and has been involved in all aspects of construction throughout his career.
Mark Davis, Superintendent
Mark has over thirty eight years experience in the general construction industry and has been employed as a project superintendent with Carrera Construction since 2007. Mark is also a highly skilled carpenter and has been involved in all aspects of construction throughout his career.
Randy Schneider, Superintendent
Randy has over twenty two years experience in both multi family and commercial construction and has been employed as a project superintendent with Carrera Construction since 2013. Randy is also a highly skilled trim carpenter and has been involved in all aspects of construction throughout his career.
Jason Fury, Superintendent
Jason has over fifteen years experience in commercial construction and has been with Carrera Construction since 2014. Jason is one of our “traveling” superintendents to serve our repeat clients for out of town projects.
Mark Ruff, Superintendent
Mark has over seven years experience in many types of commercial construction and specializes in insurance work. He has been with Carrera Construction since 2015.
