I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you and your crew for a job well done! The office space and physician lab build out at 4850 Smith Road in Cincinnati, OH. is a testament to your professionalism and ability to adjust to adverse existing conditions. Our space is 14,569 and divided between three different business units with varying requirements. You met all of our requests without fail and brought the project in a week ahead of schedule.
I especially appreciate your communication efforts and honesty whenever issues arose. That is a sign of an experienced company and speaks well for the people that Carrera employs. It’s been a pleasure working with you and I hope we have an opportunity to work together again in the future.
“I have personally contracted with Carrera Construction over the past two years and was pleasantly surprised with their job performance. Ben Ransick is always willing to take on any project of any size and is always there for assistance in case of an emergency.
They perform in a very professional manner and I would highly recommend Carrera Construction as a contractor to begin a professional working relationship with.”
-Kim Carroll, DCT Industrial Trust
“In 2007, I purchased a building to move my optometric practice into. In order to make it beneficial for us we had to totally gut and restore the interior. After consulting with my architect, Arch-Image II, we selected Carrera Construction to do the work. Mr. Ed Vicars was assigned to be our project manager.
I was most happy with entire construction process. The project began right on time with demolition of the prior interior. I was happily surprised with not only the speed but the cleanliness of this part of the project. Once construction itself began, Ed worked very closely with both me and the architect, to assure the project stayed on schedule.
I was also very pleased with the subs chosen for the project. they were not only capable; they all seemed to be neat, clean, and polite to the other tenants in the office park.
I am happy to report that the project finished pretty much right as scheduled. The few items that were on the “punch list” were addressed almost immediately. We have been in our new office for several months now, and continue to be very satisfied with the quality of the work. I would highly recommend Carrera Construction for any project similar to ours, and would love to have Ed be the project manger on any project I would pursue in the future.”
-Thomas G. Ritter, O.D.
“In our industry there are not many times we receive positive feedback. We more hear feedback when the schedule is behind, the budget is over or if there is a mess up. So I am excited to share with you that after our walk through this morning, there was nothing but positive feedback from HRX on the process thus far and they are extremely happy with our team on this project. They are impressed with the level of speed that the framing is going up and the quick response that we receive from your team.
Keep up the great work.”
-Angela Williams, CBRE
“I want to commend you for your performance in execution of the Widmers Dry Cleaning construction project. Your ability to complete the job on time and on budget is very much appreciated.”
-Raymond K. Cooper II, The Myers Y. Cooper Company
“Please allow me to express my appreciation to everyone on the Carrera Construction team for making the Renovation Project of our new McMann Road facility a success!
I would especially like thank project manager, Mr. Ed Vicars for his willingness to go the extra mile. Ed’s management ability and commitment to meeting project goals and deadlines were appreciated. He provided clear communications with all parties involved, overcame many unique obstacles presented by the local Building Department and successfully delivered the project on schedule.
Finally, I have worked with many contractors throughout my career and i would not hesitate to recommend Ed Vicars and Carrera Construction to anyone interested in working with people of integrity.
I look forward to working with you in the future!”
-Lance George, Multi-Color Corporation.
“As I assume you know, you are doing a small T/I job for us over in Walnut Hills in a building in which I am a partner as well as the manager
I wanted to share how pleased I am with the progress and the conduct of the job. The suite is occupied, so daily cleanup and tidy workspace are important and both times I have been to the site, people have remarked how diligent the crew is about cleaning up. There was even a story about how, during some demolition a small wall-clock fell from a wall. The lady in the office said that 3-4 people were there as soon as they heard it and really took it seriously despite the fact that it was a cheap wall clock hung on the thumb tack. She felt good about that.
Lastly, Rebecca’s communication with my property manager has been excellent. I know its’s a small job, but I wanted to share how favorably it reflects on your team.”
-John E. Neyer, Neyer Mangement
“Congratulations to Ben, Shawn, and the rest of the Carrera team for making this project a success. We appreciate the cooperation that your team showed in turning this store over under very extreme circumstances.
Both Ben and Shawn are to be commended for a job well done. We look forward to having the opportunity to work with the Carrera team in the near future.”
-Ernie Szczerba, JGA
“I want to take the time to thank you for the cooperation and patience that you showed as you worked with Skyline Chili, and me, during the construction of our new location. We did run into a few problems that were out of your company’s control; however, as we reach the end of the project, everything has turned out to meet my expectations.
Mike Alexander has a great deal of knowledge about the restaurant industry, and many of his ideas will be considered when we build our future locations. He took the time with me to ensure that your company would get the job done correctly.
Tom Mann was a pleasure to work with. He, out of anyone, is the one person I worked with he most. He understood my needs and made sure the work was done promptly and correctly. He did a great job scheduling all of the sub-contractors as well as keeping me posted on the progress during various steps of construction.
I just wanted to let you know that you have a great team working for you. I will consider Carrera Construction for our future projects in the local tri-state area.”
Chris DeForest, Skyline Chili
“I wanted you to know that Tom Jones met our Eddie at the store, the very day they talked on the phone! He also had the various subs come out to look at their needed repairs (which I believe are currently ongoing). We all are very impressed and pleased. Not only did this gentleman build a very nice product, he’s taking the trouble to make sure everything needed is done right. Personally, I would ask him to build another building in a heartbeat, I hope we get the opportunity.”
-Chip Wood, Tire Discounters
“I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Carrera Construction Co. I worked with this company from March to May of 2007 planning and remodeling our new store location in Hyde Park Plaza in Cincinnati, Ohio. During the construction, Ed Vicars was dedicated to his work and the job at hand. He was easy to work with. He was at the site 2-3 times a week and stepped in quickly to resolve any construction issues. Problems were promptly solved to our satisfaction. The project was completed ahead of of schedule. We were extremely satisfied with a job well done. The finished location met and went beyond our expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend Carrera Construction Co. We were pleased with the professionalism of the company and would use them again in the future. In closing, let me say that I have no hesitation in recommending them. I am confident that Carrera Construction Co. would do a good job for you.”
-Kevin R Johnson, KRJ Hardware Inc.
“I would like to take this opportunity to personally say what a great job Rebecca did as the project manager for a recent expansion project completed at Southwestern College, in Florence, Kentucky. Her enthusiasm for her job was clearly evident during the entire project. She met every deadline and was right there working alongside her crew when needed.
She made sure the quality of the work was always exceptional and would not accept anything less. She was always available to me when I had questions regarding any aspect of the project and provided me with sound and accurate information as a response. When I had issues with some less than professional painting subcontractors she was quick to respond and act on replacing them. She actually pulled the crew that same day.
It is because of my experience with Rebecca that I will always call Carrera first when looking for construction work to be done at my campus. No matter how many projects she has going on Rebecca makes you feel like your project is the most important project she has going on. Rebecca possesses exceptional customer service skills, which is vital in such a competitive market.”
-Tina M. Barnes, Southwestern College
